MIND 200 – Music Industry Management
Learn how to successfully navigate the music industry as an artist manager, tour manager, promoter or publicist.
|Course||MIND 200 – Music Industry Management|
The MIND200 course builds on the foundational concepts covered in MIND 100, focusing on Music Industry Management, preparing you for roles such as promoter, artist manager, tour manager, publicist and more. MIND200 will result in a Business Plan based on your goals: an artist development plan, a plan to launch your own promotions company, or launch your own label – or whatever plan is best tailored to your goals. Just like MIND100, you will have the opportunity to present your plan to industry professionals, getting their feedback. If you impress them, you may find new allies for your new business.
You will learn: tour management, marketing, music law, grant writing, publishing and licensing, and distribution.
Gain the skills you need to discover new talent, develop artist careers, artists, promote and place songs, and be a leader in the music and media industry.
