GGGarth Richardson understands the value of learning by doing. The son of legendary Canadian music producer Jack Richardson C.M., he began his music career at a young age working in his father’s studio. GGGarth was mentored by industry greats, learning music production and audio engineering from producers such as Nimbus co-founder Bob Ezrin, Brian Christian and Jack Richardson C.M.

Throughout his career as a producer and engineer, GGGarth has worked with some of the most exciting artists in music history including: Rage Against the Machine, Ozzy Ozbourne, Alice Cooper, Biffy Clyro, Rise Against, Mudvayne, Chevelle, Trapt, Atreyu, Red Hot Chili Peppers, The Gallows, and Taylor Swift.

GGGarth was involved in the co-production of K’Naan’s “Wavin’ Flag” project with Young Artists for Haiti alongside Bob Ezrin and Mike Fraser. The song won the 2011 Juno Award for Single of the Year and helped raise over $2 million for disaster relief.

GGGarth has been nominated for many Juno awards over the course of his career, with multiple nominations being for the Jack Richardson Producer of the Year Award. This is of special importance, as the award is named in honour after GGGarth’s father, Jack Richardson. GGGarth produced and engineered Rage Against the Machine’s self-titled debut album, the album earned him a Grammy nomination for his engineering work and secured his place among the world’s top record producers.
