Through the CapU Arts and Entertainment Management program, students will gain the skills to work in B.C.’s entertainment industry. Whether you pursue a career in music, film, TV, theatre, artist management or a related field, this program gives you business skills to thrive in your area of interest. This is normally a two year program, however, our graduates will bypass year one and move straight into year two.
The pathway program is one of the first-of-its-kind partnerships between a BC public university and a private college. This wonderful opportunity was created to:
enhance student mobility and access to other entertainment-related industries, including design and theatre.
expand job opportunities by widening access to sectors where labor shortages exist
assist international students in achieving eligibility for post-graduate work permits. For more information on study permits in Canada, visit the Government of Canada website
offer a complimentary of production and academic education experiences in an accelerated format, providing cost/time savings for students wishing to pursue advanced education to enter the workforce
foster opportunities for faculty to collaborate and share resources
