Dylan Martin Sterling was born on April 4th, 1992. The eldest son of Kim Foreman-Rhindress, with two younger siblings, Justin and Eden.
Dylan spent the first few years of his life in Connecticut. He then moved with his family to Holland. He spent several happy years travelling throughout Europe before the family moved to Kelowna, BC in 2003. Dylan loved meeting new people and learning interesting facts about the world. He was insatiably curious, hard-working and dedicated.
After graduating from high school in 2010, Dylan moved to Vancouver where he attended an audio engineering and music production school. According to his mother, Dylan regretted not choosing Nimbus to receive his training.
Dylan’s goal was to attend Nimbus School of Recording & Media and pursue his passion for electronic music – he dreamed of a career in the music industry. Dylan was working for his grandparents’ business in Ontario, saving up to attend Nimbus.
Dylan Sterling passed away suddenly and peacefully in his sleep from heart failure on May 15, 2014 at the young age of 22, before he was able to fulfill his dream of coming to Nimbus and starting his music career.
