TUITION FEE PAYMENTS
We know that when you commit to investing your time and finances for your education, it can be challenging to plan for everything. Nimbus offers a variety of ways to structure your tuition payment schedule and our Advisors can walk you and your family through all the various financial assistance and payment options.
TUITION PAYMENT SCHEDULE
Enrollment Deposit: Upon receiving your acceptance call and email, to confirm your enrollment in the program and to secure your seat, you will need to pay the enrollment deposit of $1,275. This can also be paid via credit card or Paypal.
BALANCE OF TUITION FEES
The balance of your tuition will be paid as per your agreed upon financial plan.
*If you are planning to use Canadian student loans, pre-approval may be required.
*Fees are quoted and payable in Canadian dollars and can be paid by wire transfer, online bill payment, credit card, cheque, bank draft, money order, or debit card (in person at Nimbus only).
*Tuition includes all books, fees and applicable taxes. Laptop and software not included.

FINANCIAL AID OPTIONS FOR CANADIAN RESIDENTS
Our Financial Aid Manager can assist you by answering any questions you may have about tuition assistance options and can also guide you through the application process.
Canada and Provincial student loan funding is available to Canadian Citizens, Landed Immigrants and Permanent Residents enrolled in full-time programs at Nimbus School of Recording & Media. This funding is based on fees, supplies, living expenses and income and reaches a maximum annual amount that varies by province.

Please read the full text (and the fine print) of any contract in which you engage carefully and be sure you understand it before you sign it. Nimbus is not responsible for terms and conditions imposed by third-party services.
TUITION AND FEE REFUND POLICY
Nimbus is designated by the Private Training Institutions Branch (PTIB) of the Ministry of Advanced Education of BC, #0027, and holds a designation certificate. The following Refund Policy is in accordance with the PTIB. To be considered for a refund, students must submit a written notice of withdrawal to Nimbus by registered mail, fax, email or delivery to Nimbus Educational Administration. If students hand-deliver their written notice, they need to have Nimbus mark the notice when it was received, and provide students with a copy for their records. Non-attendance does not constitute notice of withdrawal. Refunds are based on a percentage of hours of instruction to be provided during the contract term, excluding weekends, holidays and scheduled school breaks. Where total fees have not yet been collected, Nimbus is not responsible for refunding more than has been collected to date and a student may be required to make up for monies due under the contract.
If Nimbus receives tuition, Nimbus will refund the tuition that was paid in relation to the program in which the student is enrolled if Nimbus receives a notice of withdrawal from the student no later than seven days after the effective contract date and before the contract start date.
After seven days after the effective contract date and:
a) If at least 30 days before the contract start date, Nimbus may retain up to 10% of the tuition due under the student enrolment contract, to a maximum of $1,000.
b) If less than 30 days before the contract start date, Nimbus may retain up to 20% of the tuition due under the student enrolment contract, to a maximum of $1,300.
a) If Nimbus receives written notice of your withdrawal, or if you are dismissed up to and including 10% of your program’s duration has elapsed, Nimbus will retain 30% of the Tuition Fee due under this contract.
b) If Nimbus receives written notice of your withdrawal, or if you are dismissed where more than 10% and up to and including 30% of your program’s duration has elapsed, Nimbus will retain 50% of the Tuition Fee due under this contract.
c) If you withdraw or are dismissed where more than 30% of your program’s duration has elapsed, no refund will be issued.
Nimbus will retain the lesser of 10% of the Tuition Fee due under the contract or $400 if you are an international student who applies for and
a) is denied a study permit authorization from Citizenship and Immigration Canada, or
b) does not receive authorization prior to the start of program study provided that
- You notify Nimbus of the circumstances in subsection 5.3 (a) on or before the first day your program is scheduled to begin, and
- you, within a reasonable time, provide documentation of the circumstances in subsection 5.3 to Nimbus, by way of a copy of the denial letter
